Built new in 2005 this cottage was designed to please those who like period property but who seek modern plumbing heating insulation and a kitchen. diner they would be proud of at home.
The lounge overlooks the walled garden and croquet lawn. We are informal in our approach and you would share the garden with us and our guestfriendly flatcoated retreiver - Scoter.. and her grandaughter Willow ( born Apr 2011) Birdsong is a constant ....and you would even hear an owl at night.
Trips to central Edinburgh by bus every 10 mins ( cost one pound 20p. ... and hourly through the night are but a 1 minute walk from our driveway.
There are several excellent restaurants / pubs within a 5 minute walk.
