Policies

In order to avoid fraud, only make prepayments (reservations or deposits) using a credit card (or any other card that does not require a PIN number for online purchases) or PayPal. Never make an advanced payment using cash, checks, money orders or bank transfers. Learn why.

Cancellation Policy: No show or Cancellation of less than 72 hours notice will have the full amount forfeited. An administration charge of AU$20.00 applies to all cancellations.

The following is the terms and conditions of Grand Harbour Accommodation:-
 It is your responsibility to safeguard your valuables and belongings. Management will not be responsible for any item left in the room. Management will not be responsible for accidents or injury to guests or loss of money, jewelry or valuables of any kind.

 Smoking – Smoking inside the building and apartment is strictly prohibited. You may be liable to pay additional cleaning charge and all other incidental costs associated with sprinkler and fire brigade.

 Fire alarm – Guest are reminded that the fire extinguishers located in the corridor of the apartments are only to be used for emergency purposes. Please be aware once the fire extinguisher is removed from its place, the fire alarm of the building will be activated and followed by the evacuation of the building. A minimum of $3000.00 fine will incurred as a result of misuse of fire extinguisher and false fire alarm. You will be personally liable to pay fine imposed by the Metropolitan Fire Brigade (MFB). Your personal details will be submitted to the MFB and Victoria Police accordingly.

 We enforces a strict no party policy. AS OUR APARTMENTS ARE LOCATED IN A RESIDENTIAL ENVIRONMENT, WE MAINTAIN A "NO PARTY AND ZERO NOISE TOLERANCE POLICY" - ANY GUEST WHO BREACHES THIS POLICY OR FAILS TO FOLLOW THE TERMS & CONDITIONS, WILL BE EVICTED FROM THE APARTMENT WITH NO REFUND. You are liable to pay a minimum of $500 of security callout fee should there be a complaint from the residences. A minimum of $200 cleaning fee will be charged as well.

 Noise Disturbance – All Occupiers must not create or permit noise or behaviour in a manner likely to interfere with the quiet enjoyment of others; noise or other appliances should not be heard inside a neighbours house between the hours of midnight and 8.00AM. Police can warn offenders to abate unreasonable noise, such as noisy parties.

 Use of Balcony – Guest are reminded that it is a criminal offence to throw bottles, rubbish, and any item from the balcony. You may be charged if a police report is filed.

 Use of Lift – Please ensure you do not jump and shake heavily in the lift as it may trigger the Emergency Lift Shut Down and you may be locked out in the lift and you will be liable for the OTIS Lift Callout Charges.

 Keys – There will be $50.00 call out fee, if you lock yourself out and require our staff to attend to when it is after 12.00am midnight. At check-out please make sure you return all keys and swipes to our Reception or the Key Drop box at the Reception Office. It is your responsibility to safeguard the Key(s) and Swipe(s) provided to you. Lost of keys charges is $150/set.

 Guest to agree to be held personally liable in the event if he/she or the company failed to pay for any part or full amount of these charges including any missing/damaged items. If an attorney is retained to collect these charges, guest will pay all reasonable attorney’s fess and costs incurred. If payment is by credit card, Grand Harbour Accommodation is authorised to charge guest’s account for all charges incurred, including any and all damages/missing items.

 Guest agrees that the sole purpose of renting this apartment is for his/her own residency only.
