Masseria Luce dates back to the XVI century and was born as a fortified tower to defend against pirates turkish-saracen first and then the robbers.
The whole structure is characterized by high walls and a main arc, which is accessed through the courtyard of the tower. Here, near the residential part, there are several environments, including underground oil mill, the old stables and the consecrated chapel dedicated to Saint Lucia and St. Vito.
Exhausted its "original" function, after a careful recovery in respect of traditional materials and techniques of modern bio-architecture, today, Masseria Luce has been transformed into a tourist-residential structure with service B&B and Vacation Rentals.
The local, cozy and comfortable, are carefully furnished with antiques and items made by the local, in perfect harmony with the style of the farm.
