The Yarra Ranges Apartment is situated in a secluded position in Mt. Evelyn, which is part of the famous Dandenong Ranges and is less than 1 hour from Melbourne CBD. Yarra Ranges Country Apartment is located centrally to the Yarra Valley and the Dandenong Ranges and set in an acre of garden, surrounded by tall gum trees, fern gullies and has many colourful native birds constantly visiting the garden. They can be viewed from the apartment window. There are many lovely walks and bike trails on the door step. Bikes can be hired from the local cafe. The accommodation is fully self contained, and accommodates up to 4 people with a warm and cosy atmosphere. It has a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, cooktop, refrigerator, laundry etc. But if you don't want to cook there are a number of takeaways who will deliver. Mt. Evelyn township is just a short but lovely walk away.
To enhance your stay you can arrange to have a rejuvenating in house therapy such as massage, facial or pedicure. Or to help you explore this beautiful part of the world we have put together some self drive tours covering tourist attractions, gourmet food outlets, wineries, cafe and restaurants, nurseries, antique shops plus much more. Some of the attrractions include Tesselaars Tulip Farm who have a wonderful tulip festival in September to October. The steam train Puffing Billy which runs daily and offers on board luncheons or dinners in an old barn with Elvis and Dolly Parton look a likes. The William Ricketts Sactuary displays his beautiful sculptures of Aboriginal faces set in a fern garden. Many cafes offer the very popular Devonshire teas (scones, jam and cream). Sky High Restaurant has the best views over Melbourne, especially at night and is great for a romantic dinner.
Then there are the numerous wineries in the Yarra Valley, including Domain Chandon, the sister winery to Moet and Chandon. Less than an half an hours drive is the famous Healesville Sanctuary where visitors can see popular Australian animals, birds and reptiles including, Koalas, Kangaroos, Wombats, Echidnas, Goanas, Snakes, Lizards, Dingoes, Tasmanian Devil, Eagles, Emus and the marsupial Platypus. These are only a few of the many attactions our visitors can experience in our exquisite environment.

In order to avoid fraud, only make prepayments (reservations or deposits) using a credit card (or any other card that does not require a PIN number for online purchases) or PayPal. Never make an advanced payment using cash, checks, money orders or bank transfers. Learn why.

Standard Terms and Conditions of Temporary Holiday Accommodation

Note: Variances can be agreed on but only by arrangement with the owner in writing.

Deposit of 25% non refundable is required to secure the booking. Payment of the rental deposit constitutes the clients acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Balance of the rental amount must be received in full 2 days prior to occupancy. If not the owner has the right to cancel the booking and attempt to re let it.

Cancellation if caused by the client, money paid is not refundable unless the Apartment is re-let for the entire period. If it a refund is made due to the property being relet then a $50 cancellation fee will apply.

The owners will make every effort to ensure the property is available as booked. However the owners reserve the right to make alterations to bookings due to unforeseen circumstances.

To maintain a good standard for our guests we require certain conditions to be complied with. We appreciate most will respect our property but the occasional abuse requires that we state the following conditions.

Number of Guests should not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation Notice or subsequently agreed in writing or email. Fees will apply for excess guests not agreed with the owners in advance.

Parties and Functions are strictly prohibited. The price charged is for domestic use only and not commercial. Accordingly this rate does not allow for the extra wear associated with functions in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc. Use contrary to this may result in loss of your bond and/or additional payments.

Damage, Breakages, Theft and Loss are the tenants responsibility during their stay.

Departure - the property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival. Check-out time is 12 noon by the latest, to allow time to prepare property for next guests.

Disturbance to our neighbours, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination of rental and loss monies.

Pets are not allowed unless specific arrangements have been made in writing with the owner.

Loss - the owners take no responsibility for the tenant’s personal property.

Guests must abide by the Emergency procedures as displayed in the apartment.

On Code Red Days (Catastrophic) as decreed by the Victorian Country Fire Authority, guests must evacuate to safer areas if requested by the owners and a full refund will be made to the guests for the days the apartment is not available.

Variations to these conditions may only be made by prior arrangements with the owner in writing.
